On Sunday October 3rd the Church held a Trail Ride starting from Gordy's place. We had a total of 35 people. Some rode in the wagon and the rest took our horses and headed out. Everyone collected at the usual lunch spot and enjoyed hot dogs, smokies and marshmallows and great campfire coffee. Small children were everywhere and are a great addition to any event. Following lunch, the wagon took one road back and the riders split into two groups. It is still up for discussion who had the most interesting ride.

 

At the end of the day several more joined us for a Pot-Luck supper at Gordy's. Than you for lending us your house, Gordy. I hope everything survived the onslaught.

 

We all rode on carpets of gold as the leaves were almost gone, the sun shone just enough to make the day warm, and once again there was a great opportunity to enjoy God's splendor.
