Dollar bill race - Contestants ride (Start slow and speed up) around arena bareback sitting on a "bill". Last one still sitting on their "bill" is declared the winner.

 
Delsey Derby - 2 contestants travel around arena with length of toilet paper between them. Last untorn paper wins.

Coke and crackers - Coke and crackers - contestants ride to one end of arena, drink entire can of coke, then ride to other end and consume 6 crackers. Then must ride to judge and whistle Yankee Doodle.

Stake race - contestants run down course then weave back through stakes.

Barrel race - both traditional and slow (for the very young, the very old and those that aren't in a hurry.)

And then the cowboy free-for-all version!

 
Hide race - 1 rider drags hide with person on it to far end then they switch and run back.
